Laura Walbridge is a legal assistant and paralegal. She has worked for Karen S. Gerstner & Associates since 2011.
Laura prepares a wide range of documents, including legal correspondence, contracts, and estate planning documents. She also manages the firm’s records and maintains the filing system. Laura is in charge of the attorneys’ schedules and handles many duties that keep the office running smoothly, such as ordering supplies and talking with vendors.
Her excellent interpersonal skills enable Laura to communicate effectively with co-workers, vendors, and clients. She especially enjoys talking with clients, whether they are prospective, active, or past clients. Laura is highly organized and careful in all her work.
Laura graduated from Barry University in Miami, Florida, with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and earned a license as a substance abuse counselor (LCDC, Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor). Ultimately, her focus and interest shifted to working at the law firm, which was a natural fit, since she is one of Karen Gerstner’s three daughters and the family is very close-knit.
Outside of the office, Laura most enjoys spending time with her daughter, Winnie. She also enjoys cooking, running (she recently completed a 10K race), and traveling. Laura and her husband have travelled all over the world. Iceland, Ireland, and Taiwan are among her favorite places to visit.
