Libby Mosher joined the firm as an associate attorney in 2024. Her practice focuses on estate planning and probate and estate administration.

Before joining the firm, Libby was an associate in the Houston office of a large international law firm for over three years. Her principal areas of practice were mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and capital markets transactions, which provided her with valuable experience working on sophisticated legal transactions and documents.

As she contemplated a change in practice direction, Libby knew that working with Karen Gerstner (her mother) was a unique opportunity. Libby enjoys meeting and working with people and helping them address their legal needs and goals, so the estate planning and administration practice was a natural fit. Even more, Karen’s legal experience over more than four decades and her high-level expertise in estate, trust, and tax law enable Libby to practice with the benefit of a mentorship of unparalleled quality. Being part of a family-run practice was also appealing, especially since the Gerstners are a close-knit family. After taking all of these considerations into account, Libby decided to join the firm.

Libby’s experience working with complex legal documents, her strong attention to detail, and the high degree of care she applies in her work make her especially well-suited for estate planning and administration legal work. Her natural social skills and pleasant demeanor enable her to connect easily with clients. She is an attentive listener who cares deeply about helping clients and focuses on providing the highest level of personal service. She is always available to clients to discuss their concerns and develop solutions in a timely manner.

When she’s not working, Libby enjoys spending time with her husband Rayne and her cockapoo Pringles. Traveling and collecting antique art and home furnishings are some of her favorite activities. She also devotes time to new hobbies, like watercolor painting and learning to speak French.
